Media workers benefit from communications training

Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Public Affairs, Kwame McCoy on Friday opened the Introduction to Communications training programme for media workers.

He thanked the representatives of both private and State media for making the sacrifice to better their knowledge in media relations.
“We have five other training programmes which are designed for specific areas of communications, social media, broadcasting etc,” the Minister noted.
The training targets hinterland radio announcers and volunteers, public relations officers, regional information officers, content developers, journalists and feature writers operating in the State media.

Participants will be trained in the areas of Research and Writing, Interviewing, Production and Presentation, Broadcasting, Film, Public Relations and Communication.
