Miner gets bail for allegedly showing woman his genitals

Thirty-five-year-old Lenroy Allman, a miner of Diamond Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was on Wednesday released on bail on several charges, including indecent exposure.

He was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Police said that the man is accused of exposing his genitals to a woman who resides at Grove Squatting Area, EBD. Police said too that he was also charged with threatening language, assault causing actual bodily harm, and damage to property.
He allegedly committed the offences against Malika Thomas, at Prosville, Wisroc, Wismar, Linden, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice). Allman pleaded guilty to the threatening language charge, and was reprimanded and discharged by the Chief Magistrate.
On the other charges, he pleaded not guilty and was granted bail totalling $65,000. He returns to court on October 25, 2021.
