Miss Earth Guyana grand coronation for June 23

Seven of the nine delegates who were shortlisted to vie for the title of Miss Earth Guyana 2018 will move full steam ahead with preparations for the grand coronation set for Saturday, June 23 at the National Cultural Centre.
The seven delegates to take centre stage are Xamiera Kippins, Luann Pellew, Anita Baker, Gabriella Chapman, Oriana Castello, Akisha Payne and Anasa Williams.
However, Kippins and Baker have already secured their spots in the top four after they would have been victorious in the Beauties of a Cause competition where all the delegates had to complete a project on the environment.
Nevertheless, the final two contestants who will join Kippins and Baker will be selected after the swimwear, evening gown and a hashtag top interview which will be done on the night of the coronation. After the final four are named, they will answer the final question.
The delegates would have already competed in the talent and costume segments weeks ago. The delegates also participated in several community activities and are all hyped to put up a show on June 23.
Tickets for the pageant cost $2500 and $2000 and are available at the Giving Hope Foundation and the National Cultural Centre or any of the Miss Earth representatives. The show gets underway at 20:00h.
The event is sponsored by DemBake, Caribbean Wind and Sun, Aracari Resort, Precise Printing and Stationery Supplies and the Social Cohesion Ministry.
