Mohamed’s Enterprise have continued their overwhelming support towards the motor racing fraternity on Wednesday when they donated an undisclosed sum of money to the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) ahead their March 19 “Reaction” Dragz Meet at the South Dakota Circuit.
On hand to receive the donation, GMR&SC official Desrie Lee, thanked the company for their kind gesture ahead of the highly anticipated event since it will go a long way in helping to provide fans with the best possible atmosphere on race-day. GMR&SC President, Ramez Mohamed has stated that they are expecting a big tournament since the drivers are fascinated with the new system in place and are eager to race.
Over 100 participants inclusive of the Surinamese are set to battle for supremacy in the various categories and this event is just a tip of the iceberg since they are aiming to stage an international drag race meet later this year.
Up to $50,000 will be a stake for the fastest bus with free runs beginning from 09:00h followed by qualifying at 10:00h and the knock-out rounds from 11:00h.
