Mohammed’s Enterprise joins list of sponsors

As the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)-ExxonMobil International Futsal Festival slowly approaches, long-standing football sponsor Mohammed’s Enterprise has made a donation of trophies and an undisclosed monetary sum to the Federation.
The donation was presented by proprietor Nazar Mohammed to GFF Executive Committee Member Dion Inniss in the presence of Aubrey “Shanghai” Major of tournament organiser K&S, at the business’s Lombard Street location.
Following the presentation, Mohammed said his company has been a football partner for almost 30 years and he was happy to be a sponsor of the tournament.

investing in the youth of Guyana to ensure that they stay out of trouble and that they have something productive to do. What you’re doing is ensuring that they channel their energies in a productive way and we’re thankful for that.”
The four-day festival will commence on December 27, 2018 with six matches that will be played between 18:00h and 00:00h with each match being played on the hour, culminating with the final match at 23:00h.
The teams, which include Morvant Caledonia United from Trinidad and Tobago, ZV All-Stars from Suriname, and a São Paulo select team from Brazil, will be placed into two groups. The local participating teams are East Coast All-Stars, Linden All-Stars, Georgetown All-Stars and West Demerara All-Stars. The winning team will pocket $1.2 million, while the losing finalist will receive half that amount. The third and fourth-place finishers will pocket $300,000 and $100,000 respectively. Admission to the event will be $1000.
