A 29-year-old resident of Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara has been taken into custody after being busted with ammunition at his premises.
Reports are that a party of police officers went to the home of the suspect on Saturday, between 16:30h and 17:00h and conducted a search of the mechanic’s Mon Repos Pasture, East Coast Demerara home.
During the search ranks found four 2-gauge cartridges and a toy gun in a chest-of-drawer in a bedroom.
The 29-year-old man was arrested. Police are continuing their investigations.
