A heated confrontation between two females at Westminster, West Bank Demerara (WBD), has landed them before the courts. 
Twenty-five-year-old Samantha De Florimonte appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Wales Magistrate’s Court on Thursday to answer to the charge that on June 23 at Westminster, she unlawfully assaulted Althea Caines.
De Florimonte pleaded not guilty to the charge and the mother of one was released on $15,000 bail. Meanwhile, her sparring partner, Aletha Caines was cautioned by Police for a similar offence, but she was not present at Thursday’s arraignment. Once the Police are successful in contacting Caines, the two young women will make their next court appearance on July 20, 2017.
