Cleavon Murray scored twice to help Den Amstel establish a 4–1 halftime lead, laying the foundation for their three points in a match that produced eight goals.
Murray opened the scoring in the 24th minute, but Dennis brought Santos level just one minute later. Den Amstel regained control when Murray struck again in the 31st minute.
That goal began a decisive spell in which Den Amstel scored three times in seven minutes. Calvin Richmond found the net in the 34th minute, five minutes after entering the match, before Manuel Solomon extended the advantage in the 38th.
Kelon Nelson made it 5–1 six minutes after the restart, leaving Santos with a substantial deficit. Dennis reduced the gap in the 65th minute and completed his hat-trick in the 90th, but his efforts were insufficient to prevent defeat.
In the other encounter, Neron Barrow’s double helped Slingerz secure victory as they continued their pursuit of a second consecutive league title.
Kelsey Benjamin put the champions ahead in the 19th minute before Barrow doubled the lead in the 43rd, giving Slingerz a 2–0 advantage at the interval.
Barrow scored his second in the 51st minute to stretch the lead to three goals. Kevon Gooding pulled one back for Ann’s Grove in the 61st, but Curtez Kellman restored Slingerz’s three-goal cushion in the 78th.
Yohance Francis responded a minute later to make it 4–2. Slingerz held that advantage through the remaining minutes to collect all three points.
