Sgt. Osbert Robertson and Ronaldo Griffith helped Rogues Rugby Club win the St. Vincent Independence Sevens tournament, with Robertson finishing as the competition’s leading try-scorer.

Robertson, who represents GDF Rugby Club, scored four tries during the tournament. He was joined in the Rogues side by Griffith of Police Falcons Rugby Club, with both players contributing to the team’s defensive effort.
Rogues recorded a 21–0 victory over St. Vincent Police and defeated Leewards Rugby Team twice, winning 40–0 and 17–5. The results saw the champions score 78 points while conceding just five across their three matches.
Robertson and Griffith put in plenty of tackles throughout the competition, helping Rogues keep their opponents scoreless in two games.
The tournament also provided competitive action for Robertson as he continues training with Guyana’s national sevens team ahead of the Rugby Americas North (RAN) Sevens in November.
