Richard Latiff

The action will feature the Semi-Finals, 3rd Place and Finals of the competition which is being played in the memory of the late Br. Amanat Baksh of Queenstown Jama Masjid.
Battling to be the winner of this year’s tournament are MYO, a strong team with some good batting at the top and middle, leading the way is Saheed Gittens, Richard Latiff, Safraz Esau & the Hussain brothers. The bowling however is a great concern as it is a bit weak coming up against the rest of teams.
From the Cinderella county of Essequibo is the Adventure Masjid who is strong and a well-balanced side and is coming with only one mission, which is to win this year’s tournament.
Farm Jamaat is a strong team with some seasoned softball players. A no nonsense top order that can be destructive on a given day. With the likes of Lennox Marks who scored a recording breaking 178 not out against Grove in the preliminary round. They said they are here to be champions.
Grove Masjid, the weakest team and they are the underdogs, which can create an upset on their day.
There will also be an annual BBQ and Sweet Meat Sale where tickets cost $1,000.
