New champions guaranteed as Massy U18 football enters knockout phase

The 2026 Massy Under-18 Schools Football Championship moves into the knockout phase this weekend, with round-of-16 and quarter-final matches set for today, Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at the Queen’s College Ground. New champions will be crowned this year after last year’s winners, Dolphin Secondary School failed to advance beyond the group stage.

Action in the round of 16 begins at 10:30h with Three Miles Secondary facing Lodge Secondary, while East Ruimveldt Secondary oppose St Joseph High School at the same time.
At 12:15h, Ann’s Grove Secondary will meet New Amsterdam Secondary, and Charlestown Secondary will come up against Belladrum Secondary.
The afternoon session from 14:00h will see Annandale Secondary take on New Central High, while Santa Rosa Secondary face Yarrowkabra Secondary.
The final two fixtures of the day, scheduled for 15:45h, will feature West Ruimveldt Secondary against West Demerara Secondary, and Chase’s Academic Foundation opposing Patentia Secondary.
Winners from Saturday’s round-of-16 matches will advance to the quarter-finals, as the tournament intensifies towards crowning new champions.
