New GTT “Do More” store opens

Local telecommunication giant, GTT, has rolled out another one of its modern rebranded Retail Customer Experience Store, this time at the corners of Camp and Robb Streets, Georgetown.

Guyanese flocked the new branch on Saturday morning to cash in on deals such as one month free data and a gift with the purchase of any smartphone, starting as low as $10,000. In addition to this, from 10:30h to 11:30h, GTT matched the amount of smartphones each customer bought within the hour at the new store.

According to CEO Justin Nedd, who commissioned the new store, this new store is part of the changes the company is currently undergoing to improve customers’ experience. “This new GTT store is the latest addition to the change that we are doing,” he stated.

The GTT boss noted that the opening of this new store has been in the making for several months now and “offers prices that are better than the competition and GTT customers can expect even more beneficial surprises in the coming months”.

Nedd added too that the new location, which is located in the heart of Georgetown, is furnished with locally manufactured fixtures, which is demonstrative of GTT’s support for the local manufacturing industry in order to push the economy.

“We really want the customers to come here and experience it. Now, we will continue to add new experiences as the months go by so we’ve got a few surprises for you in later months, it doesn’t end here today,” he teased.

Additionally, Nedd spoke about GTT ongoing “mobile bundle” plan, calling it “easier and more economical.” The bundle plan cost $3500 and offers three gigabytes of data, 100 free call minutes and 200 free text messages. Customers can dial *100# to buy this new plan or call 0488.

This is the fourth such store which the company has opened since late 2015, when it rolled out its “Do More” campaign, providing more services so that customers can find it easier to do business with GTT at the rebranded stores.

Customers can buy any GTT service at the new location and also pay their landline and DSL bills.
