Newton wins inaugural KEEP Fit Series criterium

Aaron Newton of KFC Evolution/Foundation won the inaugural Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycle Club KEEP Fit Series criterium at the National Park on Saturday morning.

The overall winners

Newton led the field home in the 30-lap open race, which was staged on the park’s inner circuit and completed in one hour, nine minutes and 22 seconds.
Approximately 20 cyclists from different clubs, age groups and categories across Guyana competed in the event.
Alex Mendes finished second, while Newton’s KFC Evolution teammate Christopher Griffith secured third place.
Paul Choo-wee-nam crossed the line in fourth, followed by Jaikarran Sukhai in fifth and Julio Meville in sixth.
The race marked the start of the Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycle Club’s KEEP Fit Series.
