No legacy!

Dear Editor,
The PM of Antigua has taken the bold step and fired the country’s Agriculture Minister for “taking decisions inimical to good governance” (“Antiguan Agriculture Minister fired” GT Jan 21).
His many failed attempts for six months to get the Minister to step in line were futile.
One Government takes decisive action before its tenure is up, while another whose tenure is up, its Agriculture Minister decided he is finished with politics.

No legacy!
With regards,
Shamshun Mohamed
