“Nothing to Laugh About” is no doubt one of the biggest comedy shows in Guyana with a star-studded cast that never disappoints their audience. Earlier this year, its 12th edition was staged at the National Cultural Centre, where the crowd was left in stitches. 
Now Signature Productions has decided to select the best skits from the 12 years it has been in the business and stage a production in Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara (WCD). A similar show was staged in Bartica recently and patrons are still talking about it.
After years of persons on the West Side asking for the show, it is finally happening on October 5 at the Uitvlugt Estate Ground.
The show will feature performances from renowned local actors such as Lyndon “Jumbie” Jones, Mark “Chinee Man” Kazim, Michael “Credit” Ignatius, Kirwyn Mars, Clemencio Goddette, Leza “Radica” Singh, Simone Persaud, Zoya Moore, Gerard Gilkes, Mark-Luke Edwards, and Jermaine Grimmond.
The show will comprise satirical slapstick skits and stand-up comedy by some of the most seasoned actors in Guyana. “Nothing to Laugh About” is dubbed one of the best in theatrical presentations and has only gotten better in the past years. From politics to religion to trending topics, it has it all! No one will be spared.
Patrons can also party with the cast at the after-party which will be at XS Bar and Lounge in Cornelia Ida, WCD.
Patrons are advised to get their tickets early because of the overwhelming demand for this show. Tickets for the show are: $500 (children); $1500 (regular) and $3000 (VIP).
