Execution-style killing
A post-mortem examination conducted on the body of Ricardo Fagundes, called “Paper Shorts”, of Sandy Babb Street, Georgetown, who was executed outside a popular nightspot on Main Street, Georgetown on Sunday, has determined that he died from multiple gunshot injuries.

The autopsy was conducted by Dr Nehaul Singh on Wednesday at the Georgetown Public Hospital after the body was positively identified by the mother of the dead man, Carol Fagundes.
Police said three metal fragments were retrieved from the body during the post-mortem.
The 42-year-old gold dealer was shot dead on Sunday evening after he exited the nightspot on Main Street, after receiving a phone call.
Reports are the man was partying with a group of friends at the bar when his phone rang and he exited the club to take the call, but soon after, several gunshots were heard. Reports are that the now dead man’s friends rushed out to enquire, but found Fagundes lying motionless in a pool of blood close to his motor car.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) arrived shortly after the shooting and pronounced Fagundes dead. Following the incident, Police recovered at least 15 spent shells from a high-powered rifle at the scene.
Less than 24 hours after the shooting incident, Police found a white wagon, which is suspected to have been used by the killer, on fire at Swan, Linden-Soesdyke Highway.
