In November 2019, a teacher of the Winfer Gardens Primary School, Georgetown had to be taken to the hospital for medical treatment after she was attacked by a parent.
Reports are that the teacher was approached by a parent of one of her students shortly after she had arrived on the school’s premises. The parent reportedly accused her of hitting her child in school and launched a brutal assault on her.
