Pdey Stars, Milerock secure Summer Super Cup semi-final spots

Pdey Stars and Milerock Football Club (FC) secured the final two semi-final places in the 2026 Summer Super Cup after recording hard-fought victories in their respective quarter-final encounters at the Bayroc National Stadium.
Pdey Stars booked their place in the last four with a 2-1 victory over Haynes Winner Connection in an entertaining contest.
Pdey Stars made the brighter start and took the lead in the 13th minute when Dellus Richardson found the back of the net. Haynes Winner Connection struggled to find an immediate response, allowing Pdey Stars to carry a 1-0 advantage into halftime.
Pdey Stars doubled their lead nine minutes into the second half when Jaden Nelson scored in the 54th minute to put his team in a commanding position.
Winner Connection, however, refused to surrender and quickly reduced the deficit. Joel Daw scored in the 58th minute to give his team renewed hope of mounting a comeback.

Despite their efforts in the closing stages, Winner Connection could not find the equaliser as Pdey Stars held on for the 2-1 victory and a place in the semi-finals.
The second quarter-final was an even tighter affair between TOPP XX FC and Milerock FC.
With neither team able to break the deadlock for most of the encounter, the match appeared headed for a goalless finish. However, Kamar McLaren produced the decisive moment in the 88th minute, finding the back of the net to give Milerock a dramatic 1-0 victory.
The late strike sent Milerock into the semi-finals, leaving TOPP XX to reflect on a narrow defeat after coming within minutes of taking the contest beyond regulation time.
Pdey Stars and Milerock now join Capital FC and Botofago FC in the final four as the remaining teams battle for places in the championship match.
