Bess strengthens coaching skills ahead of Guyana’s Tier II final

Guyana’s goalkeeper Coach Travis Bess has boosted his knowledge of youth player development ahead of the national Under-14 boys’ clash with Suriname in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Challenge Series Tier II final.
Bess participated in the Elite Youth Goalkeeper Coaches Workshop in the Dominican Republic from August 17 to 21 while serving with the Guyana team at the regional tournament.
The workshop provided Bess with an important opportunity for continued learning and professional development. It also allowed him to enhance his knowledge and expertise in training and developing young goalkeepers.

The experience should benefit Guyana’s youth programme as Bess continues to work with the country’s emerging custodians and prepares them for international competition.
His immediate attention will now be on Guyana’s Tier II final against Suriname at 09:30h tomorrow, Sunday, August 23.
Bess will be with the team as Guyana seeks to complete its campaign by securing the Tier II title.
