Pensioner robbed by two men in Georgetown

A pensioner fell prey to two thieves in Georgetown, when they pounced upon and robbed the physically challenged man.

The incident occurred at South Road and Bourda Street, Georgetown.
In video footage that was seen by this publication on Saturday, the physically challenged pensioner was walking slowly from South Road to Bourda Street, when two men, one clad in three-quarter blue jeans, a white vest, and a red hat, and the other in blue jeans, a white t-shirt and his face covered, walked up to the pensioner and relieved him of his personal items.
The men then walked away, leaving the pensioner standing at the corner of the street. Police have since launched an investigation. (G9)
