Peter Lewis Construction joins Over-40s World Cup as silver sponsor

Peter Lewis Construction has signed on as a silver sponsor of the International Masters Cricket (IMC) Over-40s Cricket World Cup Guyana 2026, strengthening the Private Sector support for the international tournament scheduled for October 17 to November 1.
The competition, being organised in partnership with the Cricket West Indies Masters Association, will feature 16 international masters teams and is expected to attract players, officials, supporters and families from around the world.
Chairman of the organising committee Raj Singh welcomed the sponsorship, noting that the company’s support demonstrated confidence in Guyana’s ability to successfully host a major international cricket event.
Singh said Peter Lewis Construction’s values of hard work, reliability, quality and commitment to national development were closely aligned with the spirit of the tournament.

The company’s contribution will assist with the professional staging of the World Cup, which will include competitive cricket, community activities and opportunities to showcase Guyana’s culture and tourism product.
Organisers said Private Sector support was essential for an event of this size, with sponsors helping to create opportunities for players, officials, volunteers, local communities and supporters to participate in the tournament.
The event is expected to generate strong local, regional and international interest through matches, related activities, media coverage, livestreaming and digital engagement.
