Police Force praises ranks

completed their studies at the University of Guyana (UG). At the University’s 50th Convocation on Saturday last, two senior officers graduated with executive Masters in Public Administration (MPA) – Superintendent Mahendra Singh and Superintendent Khalid Mandall.

According to the GPF, Superintendent Singh joined the Guyana Police Force as a Presidential Guard, but graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Management (2005-2009) followed by his post-graduate studies in strategic management (2010-2011) and was promoted to his current rank of Superintendent in 2012. Singh now serves as Head of Staff and Personal Assistant to Police Commissioner Seelall Persaud.

Superintendent Mandall, who is stationed at the Presidential Guard section, in charge of the uniformed section, already possesses two diplomas – one in Project Management and the second in Public Management. The two ranks began their

More than 1600 students graduated at this year’s exercise and over 8000 students are currently enrolled in programmes across various faculties at UG.
