Dear Editor,
On behalf of the senior citizens of Prospect, I wish to bring to your attention for your action, the poor condition of the bridge at Second Street.
The bridge is used by all members of the community, living in the western part of the village, among them are senior citizens. The bridge is fast deteriorating. One of the beams has already sunk and there are gaps on the broken down bridge, which can cause severe injuries. Raised nails are also visible.
I would recommend that your intervention would result in the construction of a new bridge or repairs to this bridge. It is our considered opinion that the new bridge should be built higher so that the main support structures are not easily submerged, as is the case at the moment.
We are hoping that this matter could be dealt with expeditiously and thus prevent injuries to the senior citizens in Prospect.
Yours truly,
Trixton Forsythe
