Pork-knocker beaten to death by nephew during heated confrontation

A 41-year-old Pork-knocker was reported beaten to death by his 26-year-old nephew on Tuesday, during an argument at 14 Miles, Arakaka, North West District, Region One.
The deceased has been identified as Morvin George of 14 Miles, Arakaka Backdam.
Reports are that the now dead man and his nephew were involved in an argument that escalated into a confrontation, during which the suspect armed himself with a piece of wood and dealt George several blows to his body, rendering him motionless.
George was pronounced dead at the scene while the suspect was subsequently apprehended and taken into Police custody. A cutlass and the piece of wood suspected to have been used in the fatal encounter were recovered at the scene and lodged as evidence.
The nephew remains in custody pending charges.
