Giddeo Daniels, called “Dido”, of Potaro Backdam in Region Eight, was on Monday arraigned before Georgetown Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus on a charge of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Donald Shariff with intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or cause him grievous bodily harm.
Police Prosecutor Gordon Mansfield had no objection to the 22-year-old father of one being placed on bail, as the virtual complainant, Shariff, was reportedly treated and sent away for the injuries he had sustained at the hands of Daniels. However, Prosecutor Mansfield requested that the defendant report to the Mahdia Police Station weekly until the completion of the trial.
Daniels was placed on bail in the sum of $80,000 and was ordered to return to court on July 16.
