President’s College (PC) successfully defended their Region Four East Coast Demerara title in the Blue Water Shipping Girls’ Under-15 National Championship, securing their place in the national finals where the country’s zonal champions will battle for overall honours.
The defending champions dominated the competition, recording two convincing victories without conceding a goal. They opened their campaign with an emphatic 11-0 win over Lancaster Secondary before defeating Annandale Secondary 6-0 to seal the regional crown.
Annandale Secondary finished second in the zone after registering a 5-0 victory over Lancaster Secondary in their final match.
PC’s success was driven by outstanding performances from Neisa Lewis and Luiza Pugsley, who were named joint Most Outstanding Players of the tournament.
The adjudication ended in a tie after both players produced exceptional displays throughout the competition. Lewis and Pugsley each scored five goals and played key roles in guiding Presidents College to another regional title.

Their attacking contributions helped PC maintain their dominance in the zone and secure qualification for the national championships, where they will look to continue their impressive form against the other regional winners.
The Blue Water Shipping Girls’ Under-15 National Championship is organised by the Guyana Football Federation and provides young female footballers with a platform to showcase their talent while competing for national honours.
