Pure Masters delivered the biggest upset to date by booting Linden’s Christianburg Secondary when the round-of-sixteen matches continued on Sunday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
The scores ended 1-1 at regulation time after Omar Brewley opened the scores in the 41st but Ravon Bailey found the equalizer in the 69th. The private institution then won 4-3 on penalty kicks.

The quarter-finals will be held March in 17 and 18 while the semi-finals are on March 25 and the grand final on March 28.
Played under the theme “there is no excuse for violence” due to the tournaments partnership with the Ministry of Public Health, the under-18 boys will be hoping to secure the first place prize of $500,000 which goes towards a school project.
