Ralph Seenarine wins Flying Ace Cycling Club race

Flying Ace Cycling Club senior rider Ralph Seenarine recorded a win in the 25-mile race that was organised for club cyclists only. Seenarine stopped the clock at 59 minutes, as riders battled for bragging rights, from A Ally and Sons in Corriverton to Number 51 Police Station and returned for the finish at HD Petroleum Gas Station.


Jason Cameron came in second, while one of Guyana’s top junior riders, Mario Washington finished third. Veteran Travis Cipriani finished fourth, young Jeremiah Joseph pedalled in fifth and Justin Thom came in sixth.

Seenarine took three of the four sprint prizes on offer while Washington claimed one. A total of 14 Flying Ace starters took to the roadways. Some of the sponsors that supported this race were HD Petroleum; Alex Binda; A Ally and Sons; the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) and Ray Document Center among others.
