Ramdhani elected VP of CAREBACO

President of the Guyana Badminton Association, Gokarn Ramdhani was elected as Vice President of the Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation (CAREBACO) for the next two years 2017-2019 at the Annual General Meeting held Saturday, August 19 at the National Racket Centre in Tacarigua, Trinidad.

In a release that reached this publication yesterday, Ramdhani who is serving as Manager/Head Coach of the nine-member Guyanese team that won 8-Medals (3-Gold, 2-Silvers and 3 Bronze) at the just concluded CAREBACO Junior Championships, declared that he is very happy that Guyanese representative can once again be on the Executive Board of CAREBACO.
The release further informed that after serving for 4-years as General Secretary, he moved up to Vice President unchallenged.
The new CAREBACO Board is: President- Rahul Rampersaud (Trinidad), Vice President- Gokarn Ramdhani (Guyana), Secretary – Navin Gayapersad (Trinidad), Treasurer- ReDon Coulor (Suriname) and Committee Members – Elius Fanus (Barbados), Andrew Clarke (Barbados), Terence Sybesma (Aruba)
