Region 5 Expo, Trade Fair picks up momentum

Beverage giant ANSA McAL Trading, Republic Bank Guyana Limited, Banks DIH Limited and Arshad’s Jewellery Establishment are the latest sponsors to come on board for the Region Five (Mahaica-Berbice) Expo and Trade Fair billed for April 15 and 16.
The West Berbice Chamber of Industry and Commerce as part of the drive to promote commerce and trade in Region Five will be hosting the two-day Expo and Trade Fair, with the aim of showcasing the Region’s diversity and attracting potential investors to the Region.

It will be hosted under the theme “Building a Diversified Economy” and will be held at Bath Settlement Community Centre Ground. President David Granger is expected to deliver the feature address and declare the event open.
The much-anticipated and fun-filled event is expected to attract Public and Private Sector entities, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and others who will exhibit their product and services.
The usual vending, children’s games and entertainment, including live bands and fireworks will be available to satisfy the needs of the public. Patrons can enjoy musical entertainment from Crown Vibes Sounds Company, Shakti Strings Orchestra and the King Murphy One Man Orchestra alongside Guyana’s 2016-2017 Chutney King, Bunty Singh.
