Repeated offender remanded on threatening, wounding charges

After spending three months in prison, Daniel Bouncer of Tucville, Georgetown reappeared before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly on Friday, slapped with a series of charges including escaping police custody, threating language and wounding.
Bouncer pleaded not guilty to all four charges after it was read to him. The first charge read that on March 17, 2019 at East La penitence, Georgetown while being in lawful custody for the offence of threatening language, escaped custody. On the same day, at Lodge Housing Scheme, Georgetown he made use of threatening language towards Raul Boucher.
Another charge alleged that on January 30, 2019 at Tucville, Georgetown he made use of threatening language towards Randy Greene thereby breaching the peace.
The final charge stated that on February 17, 2019 at Silverballi Street, Georgetown he unlawfully wounded Jevena Boucher, so as to cause her actual bodily harm.
Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh objected to bail being granted to the defendant. Meanwhile the virtual Complainant, Jevena Boucher in an explanation to the court stated that the defendant is a threat to herself and family.
As such, the defendant was remanded to prison until June 21, 2019.
