RHTYSC expresses gratitude to sponsors of 29th Award Ceremony

The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, MS recently hosted its 29th Annual Award Ceremony at the St. Francis Community Developers Training Centre. Guyana’s leading NGO honoured forty of its outstanding members for extraordinary performances in 2018. The Club also recognised the contribution of Teachers of the Year, Students of the Year, Retired Teachers, Law Enforcement Officers, Doctors and Medical Personnel. Over 2.5 M worth of trophies, medals, framed certificates, prizes and gifts were shared out to the Awardee along with donations to Cricket Clubs, fellow NGOs and individuals.
The planning committee for the event headed by Asst Secretary/CEO Simon Naidu would like to express gratitude to all of its friends, sponsors and donors for their support. Naidu state that at one stage, the Club was on the verge of cancelling the Award due to the destruction of $500 000.00 worth of trophies, medals and gifts by fire in the Club’s bond. The nineteen years old Naidu stated that with sheer purpose and hard work, the Management of the Club was able to pull off the event.
