RHTY&SC Programme boosted by sponsorship from 3 business entities

– Mings Products, Hand-in-Hand and WJ Enterprise on board

Activities at Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, M.S have recently received tangible boosts from three corporate entities.
With the objective of successfully completing 450 programmes/activities for 2017 the sport entity received major contributions from Mings Products and Services Limited, Hand in Hand Group of Insurance Companies and WJ Enterprise.

The club has projected to host 450 programmes/activities under a wide range of sub-headings but would also be working overtime to reach 500 for the first time in its 27 years history. Special emphasis would be placed on a massive internal cricket development programme, hosting of numerous cricket and other sporting discipline tournaments, expansion of the Say NO/Say Yes Campaign which targets 60,000 youths in Berbice, celebrating Rose Hall 175th anniversary and expanding the Club’s massive charity programme to assist more single parent and less fortunate households.
Mings Products and Services Limited donated 24 cricket balls to the Cricket Development Programme, while the Hand in Hand Group of Insurance Companies contributed three trophies for the Club’s 27th annual awards ceremony and a financial contribution towards the Club’s 18th annual youth Review Magazine.
Narine, Managing Director of WJ Enterprise located in Regent Road, Bourda Georgetown also made a contribution to the 2017 Charity programme for less fortunate families.
Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster expressed the Club’s delight that corporate Guyana continues to support its outstanding work and noted that 2017 would be a very special one as members would be working to surpass the magical target of 500 programmes/activities by December 15. The Club has already successfully completed 35 up to January 20. The Cricket balls donated by Mings Products Service would be used by the Club’s coaching staff during daily practise sessions for junior players.
The trophies would be given to the Club’s Most Promising Player 2016, Most Discipline Player 2016 and Most Improved Player 2016. The 48 pages Youth Review Magazine would be published in May/June and would chronicle the Club’s work during 2016, during which it successfully completed 453 programmes/activities.

Meanwhile, the RHTY&SC, M.S would like to inform the general public that it is opening its cricket membership up to February 26. Cricketers between the ages of 10 to 18 years are invited to join Guyana’s Club of the Year awardee 2016 once they are drug-free, attending school, disciplined, attends their religious place of worship on a regular basis and be willing to participate in the Club’s massive Charity/Social programmes to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
