Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) breakout star Quentin Sampson has continued from where he left off in Trinidad and Tobago last week.
Sampson powered his way to a breathtaking 76 and picked up 2-33 for his team, Hamilton Parish Hurricanes in the Bermuda Smash Invitational T20 at the weekend.
The Guyanese all-rounder, who will suit up for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the summer, said his success comes from the same recipe.
“I like to see the ball and hit the ball. I enjoy when the ball come on to the bat. At first, it was new for me, the conditions was challenging. I knew it will take a few balls and then I know what I had to do,” Sampson said.

“I like to bat under pressure, I know if I stick there, runs will come,” Sampson added.
Sampson recently finished the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) Premiership T20 Festival with 200 runs at an average of 67. He had a strike rate of 244, facing only 82 balls. Sampson had scores of 72, 50, 47, and 32.
Sampson was retained by the Amazon Warriors for Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026. The man from Essequibo is also expected to feature at the upcoming ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League.
