A 54-year-old seamstress of Parika, East Bank Essequibo, was killed after being struck down by a canter on Thursday evening. Bernice Gordon was rushed to the Leonora Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is now in Police custody as investigations continue.
