Sending text messages from Digicel to GTT

Dear Editor,
GTT has announced that, for more than three months, its customers have been unable to receive text messages (SMS) from Digicel customers because of programming problems on the Digicel network.
GTT became aware of the issue from feedback from its customers. Having determined that problems on the Digicel network have been causing this issue, the GTT technical team has been providing assistance to have the issues on that company’s network resolved.
To date, and despite the continuous guidance and assistance from the GTT team, the problems on the Digicel network causing this issue have not been rectified.
GTT customers continue to have the ability to send text messages (SMS) to the Digicel customers, and GTT remains committed to having its technical team work with its counterparts at Digicel until their customers are able to resume communication on the SMS platform as soon as possible.
