Silver Bullets trounce South Stars 4-0

Silver Bullets defeated South Stars 4-0 on Friday at the McKenzie Market Tarmac, to move on to the round of 16 in the Guinness Greatness of the Streets Street football in Linden.
It was a hat-trick by Robin Adams that powered the Silver Bullets to victory. Adams scored in the 10th 12th and 19th minutes respectively while Rawle Gittens scored the fourth in 24th minute.
Defending champions Amelia’s Ward Russians also scripted a win when they defeated Ripping Bullets 1-0 with Terrence Aaron netting in the 14th minute.
Team Magics was another victorious team as they won 3-1 against Attackers. Joel McKinnon gave Magics the lead in the second minute but Avengers levelled the score three minutes later with a Reyon Venture shot on target. Magic took the lead once more when Mckinnon doubled his goals with shot in the 7th minute; Kester Randolph then sealed the outcome in the 17th minute.
Wisroc edged High Life Crew 1-0 by virtue of goal by Mark McLean in the fourth minute.

In the other matches, Retrieve Unknowns defeated Goal Getters 3-0. Carlon Mc Almont, Akeem Singh and Shaquille Alexander scored in the fifth, seventh and 18th minutes respectively.
Trevon Phillips recorded a double in the third and 13th minutes to help FC Deportees win against Rough and Rugged 5-0. Jason Swaving, Sherlock Phillips and Roger Houston scored in the 16th, 17th and 19th minutes respectively to add the other 3 goals.
Hard-Knocks cruised to a 3-1 win over Avengers, as Randy Small recorded a double in the fourth and 13th minutes, which was supported by Trenton Lashley in the fifth minute while Earl Samuels in the 12th minute scored in a losing cause.
Team 25 made light work of Cutting Clear by winning 5-1 due to a double by Ryan Gravesande (5th and 7th minutes), which was followed by Collie Hercules, Kwesi Johnson and Kennard Simon, who notched goals in the sixth, 13th and 17th minutes respectively.
The competition is down to the business end and will be trimmed to eight teams after tonight’s games at the McKenzie Market Tarmac in Linden.
