Sisters Village man robbed at gunpoint

A Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara (WBD) man was on Wednesday morning robbed at gunpoint in the vicinity of the No 44 Minibus Park, Longden Street, Georgetown.
Rohan Persaud, 27, was relieved of one mobile phone valued $30,000 by four men, one of whom was armed with a hand gun and another with a knife.
Reports are Persaud was walking on the pavement about 05:30h when he was confronted by the suspects, who held him at gunpoint and relieved him of the phone.
After committing the act, the men escaped on foot. The matter was reported and based on information gathered, one of the suspects was identified as “Lil Boy”. An investigation has been launched.
