On Saturday, hundreds of revellers are expected to take to the streets for the road tramp as Guyana celebrates its 52nd Independence anniversary.
This is the first time; Guyana will actually host a carnival-like event with the hope of making it an annual event.
However, after the road tramp, the excitement continues at the National Park with “Soca Rave” promoted by Wildfire Entertainment and King Leo Promotion. The event will see a list of well-known artistes entertaining their fans to the max. Most of the artistes are already arriving in Guyana and have promised to treat their Guyanese fans to fabulous performances.
The concert will feature Kerwin Dubois, Patrice Roberts, Blaxx, Nailah Blackman, Rupee, Ravi B, Orlando Octave, Timeka Marshall, Jumo Primo and a superstar studded line-up of international soca deejays who will add excitement to the night’s activities.
All the listed artistes are known for their energetic performances and will ‘mash up’ the place. General admission tickets for the event cost $4000 while the VIP experience is $10,000 and the VVIP experience is $20,000.
