“RevelNational” – one of the most talked about events goes down this evening at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara. The event is one of the signature events at Guyana Carnival 2018.
The headlining act for the event is the king of soca, Machel Montano and the HD Band. Known for his energetic performance, the soca king is in Guyana and promises his fans an unforgettable evening.
Upon his arrival in Guyana, he had an engagement with his fans at the University of Guyana, where he spoke of his musical career. The event was organised by the GTT.
However, this evening, he will be accompanied by Bunji Garlin and Fayann Lyons with the entire Vyking Band. The show is expected to start at the stroke of midnight and will go until six in the morning in time for the road tramp.
However, the J’Ouvert parties that were expected to take place this evening were held on Thursday evening instead. The Ignite concert featuring KI and Shal Marshal was also held on Thursday evening.
