Soesdyke residents arrested after robbing 50-year-old

Two Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara (EBD) residents who robbed a 50-year-old man on Saturday have been taken into Police custody.

According to reports, the 24-year-old and 22-year-old were intercepted around 13:40h in a motor car.
Guyana Times understands that the men reportedly broke and entered the storage room of the 50-year-old resident of Timehri Base Road, EBD and removed several items, including an electrical saw, six block-making and spindle mouldings, and a water pump engine.
However, Police, while carrying out investigations into reports made by the victim, stopped the suspects and the items were found hidden in the motor car in which they were travelling.
They are said to be assisting with investigations.
