A 44-year-old Special Constable is nursing injuries about her body and is currently hospitalised at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), after the motorcycle she was riding collided with a car.
Police reported that Aquaba Assanah of Haslington, East Coast Demerara, was proceeding east along the northern side of the Cove and John Public Road on motorcycle CK 5568, when the driver of motor car PRR 4561, driven by Bryon Mahendra, a fisherman of Hope, Lowland Section, ECD, stopped to allow a vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction to turn south into the access road.
