A side from winning the coveted trophy, the St. Angela’s girls will be hoping they can match the boys and have a clean sweep of the Pee-Wee champions this year, a feat that is yet to be accomplished.

The Thomas street unit have not set the competition alight with a lush of goals have only scored four and conceded two but Captain Nikaise St. Jules and Carletta Ross, who both have two goals each have been the team’s play makers could be the duo to catapult their team to victory.

On the other hand, West Ruimveldt’s Gabriella McGarelll has already attached her name to a record, scoring nine goals to date, as compared to previous years where it was only eight.

In total, the West Ruimveldt team has netted 12 goals and in support of McGarell will be Amanda McPherson and Shaquawna Wright. The third place play-off will be between St. Pius and South Ruimveldt, while the 5 to 9 zone will have St. Stephen’s Primary against North Georgetown Primary and then Enterprise battling St. Agnes. The 9 to 12 matches will see F.E Pollard clash with Smith Memorial followed by Winfer Garden and Tucville.

The matches in the 13 to 16 category are still to be decided since two teams were involved in a no contest after the teams failed to take the playing area.

Trophies will be awarded to all 16 teams, while medals will be awarded to the top two finishers. On the individual side, accolades will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player, the Highest Goal Scorer and the Best Goalkeeper.
