Survival Group of Companies continues to show its support

The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) having been officially launched, Survival Group of Companies continues to pledge its support for this association with sponsorship of a tournament, slated to be played under floodlights from October 26 to 28 in Georgetown and on the East Coast of Demerara.
Deemed as one of the biggest softball tournaments in the world, this tourney will be bigger than the Orlando Cup, the Fort Lauderhill Cup, the New York Cup and the Canadian Cup.
Over the span of the tournament, the sponsors have been integral in making the tournament the good one that it is; and this has continued to attract the support of the Survival Group of Companies, which have been supporters of this tournament for the last seven years, and have promised to be there in the future.
Manager of Survival Travel Agency, Mark De Freitas, has said, “The Survival Group of Companies has been a continuous supporter of the GFSCA and the Guyana Softball Cup for the last seven years, and we are proud that we have made the right decision to support the Softball Cup to this level, and that it has been getting bigger and better every year.”
De Freitas has also promised that, as per norm in every tournament, Survival Group of Companies will be giving out prizes in the form of gate prizes, which will include five hampers to five lucky winners and a trip for three couples to local destinations such as Kaieteur Falls and Orinduik Falls.
GFSCA Member Dharam Persaud, who was present at the briefing, said, “We, the GFSCA, are very pleased to have Survival once again with us. This is our eighth edition, and they have been with us from the inception. And we are indeed pleased to have them with us on board again”.
De Freitas has promised that, as long as the tournament continues, Survival will continue to sponsor this tournament in bigger and better ways. (Timothy Jaikarran)
