Talk of a faction overrated

Dear Editor,
Granger’s record since 2015 shows that he is duplicitous and manipulative. Before he got elected, he swore he would not close GuySuCo’s estates. He promised jobs. In fact, he got into office on the promise of jobs for the youths. We all know how that went. He told them to go make plantain chips and tamarind ball. When it came to the Constitution, Christopher Ram exposed him as a serial abuser.
This is a man who must know 34 is not the majority of 65 because we slid into office with a 33 majority but still went all the way to the CCJ to get confirmation because it bought him more time.
This is also a man who when challenged on the Carter formula, determined that he had the right to submit names to himself. I, therefore, do not buy the talk of a faction in the PNC/APNU. Granger is in charge. It is possible that he was momentarily shaken by his son-in-law’s outpouring and hence the Mottley episode but within a few hours, he was back to normal.
Granger is therefore not being controlled by anyone, he is simply being himself. Which army man would knowingly tolerate mutiny within his ranks?

Sincerely,
Ravi Ram
