TCL Group extends condolences to Guyana

Regional cement manufacturer Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL)/TCL Group extends its deepest condolences to the Government and people of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana following the unfortunate capsizing of the passenger ferry MV Barima.
As an active operator and longstanding corporate citizen in Guyana, the company wishes to emphasise its deep ties to the local community and its commitment to standing by the nation through this tragedy.
“The board, management, and staff of TCL are deeply saddened by this stragic loss of life,” said the Chairman of the company, David Inglefield. “Guyana is a ‘home’ market to us and a valued part of our regional family. We extend our sincere condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and stand with President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali and the Guyanese people at this difficult time.”
