The athletics team, which will be coached by Glenton Pantlitz, comprises Joanna Archer, Juvonna Cornette, Kieron De Souza, Kenisha Phillips, Chantoba Bright, Revon Williams and Loneil Marks.

The swimming team comprises Paul Mahaica Jr., Patrice Mahaica, Sekhel Tzedeq, Zara Crane and Raekwon Noel, and is being coached by Paul Mahaica Snr.
Deion Nurse is the team’s chef de mission.
While swimming commenced on Thursday, the 3×3 basketball team and the track and field team will spring into action today, Friday. Guyana’s Basketball Team will come up against Guadeloupe, Cuba and St. Lucia at 1pm, 3.30pm and 6.30pm (Guadeloupe Time).
With regard to athletics, events like the 100m preliminaries and finals, the Long Jump and 400m prelims are scheduled for today.
The other sport disciplines that would see competition at the games are Judo, Netball and Futsal. With Guyana’s Netball being dormant acting as the reason for that discipline’s omission from Guyana’s contingent, the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) have highlighted that they had reached out to the Futsal and Cycling bodies, but there were challenges barring them from competing at the games.
