A post-mortem examination conducted on the body of 19-year-old Sasia Adams on Wednesday, by Government Pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh, has revealed that she died as a result of blunt trauma to the head.
The young woman, formerly of Pomeroon, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) who resided at East Street, Georgetown, was reportedly rushed to the Dr Balwant

Singh Hospital about 20:00h on Tuesday by her 21-year-old boyfriend of Diamond, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
He reportedly told nurses that she jumped from his moving car while they were proceeding along Lamaha Street.
Guyana Times was told that the young woman, who was conscious at the time of admission, later told doctors that she fell at home.
She was admitted into the Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with severe head injuries and succumbed to her injuries about 11:00h on Tuesday.
Police have taken the boyfriend into custody and are investigating the young woman’s death.
