The St Lucia Zouks have confirmed that Thisara Perera is now available for the duration of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The tournament gets underway on September 4th, and the Zouks play their first match on September 5, when they face off against the Guyana Amazon Warriors at the National Stadium at Providence, Guyana.

It had previously been announced that Perera would not be available for the first two matches of the Zouks’ season, and a temporary replacement was being sought; but with him now available for all 10 group games and the playoffs, should the Zouks reach the knockout stages, that replacement is no longer required.
Perera, who was part of the Sri Lanka squad for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup tournament, has a huge amount of experience playing T20I cricket around the world. He has featured in 79 of the 260 T20I matches he has played, including in domestic leagues in India, England and Pakistan, as well as in his native Sri Lanka. In previous play in the CPL, he represented the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
