Ticket sale begins today

Three heart stopping One Day Internationals (ODI) are heading to Guyana in just under two weeks and tickets are set to go on sale from today at the Guyana Cricket Board’s office located at the Georgetown Cricket Club Ground, Regent Road, Bourda.
With the first T20I at the Kensington Oval done and dusted, the other three will be played in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago before the teams shift their attention to the three ODIs in Guyana.
All the matches that will be played at the National Stadium Providence will be day games beginning at 09:30h on Friday April 7, Sunday April 9 and Tuesday April 11.

These tickets will go at a cost of $4,000 for Red and Green Stand, $3,000 for Orange Stand and $2,000 for the Grass mound. Vehicle passes are also available at the cost of $1000 for each day. The ticket office at the GCB office will be opened daily from 09:00 to 17:00h and is the only authorized ticket centre at the moment. The ticket office at the National Stadium will be used closer to match days as was indicated by Paul “DJ Stress” Bonar.
According to Bonar, who is at the forefront of ticket sales, “when the T20s are behind us on Sunday, the teams will arrive in Guyana on Monday afternoon with practice sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.”
The last time the Pakistanis were in the land of many waters was back in 2013 for two ODIs. In the first match, Pakistan won by 126 runs with Shahid Afridi collecting 7-12 with the ball and making 76 with the bat. In the second encounter, West Indies bounced back to win by 37 runs.
Providence last hosted international cricket with West Indies, South Africa and Australia played three One Day Internationals in a Tri-nation series in June 2016.
